3M™ 971 Durable Floor Marking Tape is a 17 mil heavy-duty yellow vinyl tape engineered to hold its position under forklift traffic, pallet drag, and continuous foot traffic. The rubber-based adhesive delivers a firm bond to concrete, sealed concrete, tile, and painted surfaces.
Yellow is a standard color for aisle delineation, safety boundaries, and work zone separation under OSHA-aligned floor marking programs. This tape is well suited to warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and retail stockrooms where durable, high-visibility lane and zone marking is essential.
