The 3M 5N11 is a NIOSH-approved N95 particulate prefilter rated to capture at least 95% of non-oil-based airborne particulates, including dust, fumes, and mists. Designed specifically for use with 3M 5000 and 6000 series half facepiece reusable respirators, it seats securely against compatible retainer and cartridge assemblies to form a reliable filtration layer.
The 5N11 functions as a prefilter that intercepts larger particles before they reach the primary filter cartridge, measurably extending cartridge service life and reducing per-worker replacement costs. It is a standard specification in manufacturing, construction, pharmaceutical production, and general industrial settings where ongoing N95 particulate compliance is required.
Each filter can be disposed of and replaced independently without discarding the full respirator assembly. Sold in cases of 100 filters and ships via parcel carrier, supporting high-volume facility stocking and respiratory protection programs.
